Windham Hill - Changing With the Times or Selling Out?

Windham Hill was the preeminent label for New Age music once upon a time. I say was because they seem to have repositioned themselves away from "New Age" and more towards "Contemporary" or whatever that is.

What does that say to those of us who embrace the music and love it? I think it says be ashamed. Look, none of us really likes the term "New Age" but at least it's a recognizable genre that people know.

It's interesting to note how their sales aren't what they used to be either. If you don't stand for something, you stand for nothing and the market will respond accordingly.
