I set a goal to have a finished CD by September 2006. I don't have a title yet but I do have a few pieces in the works. It's going to be different than my first 2 CDs. It will have nature sounds and have a "gentler" touch than La Jolla Suite.
The last CD I did, "Anza-Borrego Desert Suite," was recorded in a suburb of San Diego - Rancho Bernardo. The studio's name is Studio West and I wasn't too happy with the outcome. Of course, if I had unlimited funds, I'd go somewhere with a 9ft. Steinway and record there. Maybe Different Fur Studios in San Francisco. But that's not necessary.
I don't know if I'll reach my goal date but I'm glad I set a date anyway.
