Recommended Video: George Winston - Blossom/Meadow

Here's one of my favorite pieces by George. All he's doing here is playing a left hand ostinato pattern while he improvises with the right hand.

Not a lot of musical material so to speak, but the music is so full and rich!

You see, as long as you stay in the present while improvising, it's all good!

Listen to what George does for the (B) section of this piece. He uses silence as a transition and goes into another left hand pattern. Pretty, pretty good!

if GW's LH ostinato is so "simple"... where are your interpretations of playing it yourself? i want to learn how to play... but i can't see any examples of how you play it in real time? thanks.
