Chord Changes Within a Set Framework

There's something attractive about having chords laid out for you ready to play. With this approach, you know what chords you'll be playing. What you don't know is how you'll be playing them. This is perfect for improvisation because it frees you up to create your own improvised melodies.

You just follow the chord changes and play. For example, the lesson "Oriental Sunrise" uses two chords and that's all - yet the music flows out of you because you don't have to think about what chords you'll be playing. In fact, you don't have to think at all. You can now feel your way through and allow the music to unfold before you - an entirely different approach and one that gives you a whole new experience!
