Passion - Composed by Richard Evans

I thought the music here was not only refreshing and nice, but also interesting. Listen to how many times he repeates the main theme before moving on to new material.

Wow! That's a lot of repetition, yet it works because he varies the theme slightly each time.

After repeating the main theme he continues on to the (b) section for a while using slightly different material and then ... you guessed it, back to the main theme.

Do you see how this "anchors" the composition? It gives you a sense of completion. The trick, as always, is avoiding monotony due to too much repetition. But I think Richard Evans did a great job here!
